Amid King Charles’ illness, Duke’s return to royal duties is unlikely. According to reports published in the Mirror, Prince Harry will not be welcomed back as a full-time working royal has told close friends that it is very unlikely that Harry will be let back into the royal circle.
British royal family Vs Harry-Meghan
The rift between the British monarchy and Harry-Meghan continues. The Prince of Wales has reportedly mentioned that he will reject any attempts by Harry to rejoin the royal institution because he is extremely upset by his brother’s continuous criticism of the monarchy.
The MARCA report states that the Prince of Wales and former Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, will block any attempt by Prince Harry to return to life as a working member of the Royal Family after the Duke of Sussex quit his responsibilities and made a series of big, controversial claims about them and especially William. Prince William, who will become King of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth upon the eventual death of his father, King Charles III, has no sympathy and feels no need for his brother to help the family following the cancer diagnosis of the reigning monarch.
What the palace has to say?
A source close to the palace told the Telegraph after reports of the Duke ‘willing to join’ royal duties surfaced causing a frenzy in the royal circle. It further states that the agreements reached during the Sandringham summit, which involved Prince Harry, his late grandmother, father, and brother, remain in effect. Harry will not return to royal working duties, unless directly asked by King Charles.
Meghan and Kate reconciliation
Meghan on the other hand, is trying hard to reconcile with Kate Middleton. An unnamed source mentioned to OK! that “Meghan has contacted Kate and Charles,” and that “moves are being made to reconcile.” Interestingly enough, a source who spoke with Us Weekly used those same words, in an article that quoted yet another unnamed source as saying, “Kate is open to reconciling, though with Harry more so than Meghan.”
