Jagga Jasoos star Ranbir Kapoor flaunts his football shooting skills in this Firstpost exclusive

Ranbir Kapoor talks about his maiden production Jagga Jasoos, co-star Katrina Kaif and the Indian Soccer League as he flaunts his football shooting skills.

Ranbir Kapoor's love for football is no secret. He not only is seen attending matches around the world in the capacity of a fan but also boasts of the ownership of Mumbai City FC in the Indian Soccer League (ISL).

In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, Vikram Thapa invited Ranbir for a football face off accompanied by a chat about the sport and his upcoming film, Anurag Basu's action comedy adventure Jagga Jasoos.

"I was not a bright student academically. Football was the only good thing that made me feel good about myself," confesses Ranbir in the interview. For the sake of similar fans passionate about the sport, he hopes that football gains more popularity in the country. "With the ISL and the Indian team doing so well, I think football is going to become big in India," he says.

Jagga Jasoos also stars Saswata Chatterjee, Sayani Gupta and Evelyn Sharma. It is co-produced by Walt Disney India, Kapoor's Picture Shuru Productions and Basu's Ishana Movies. The action comedy musical film is slated to release this Friday on 14 July.
