Even with the government spending hundreds of crores a year on schemes to provide free food and other facilities to tackle the malnourishment problem, India is still the home to 30 percent of the world’s malnourished children under the age of five.
CNBC-TV18’s Archna Shukla traveled to Kesla, Madhya Pradesh which has around 250 malnourished children to find out why the schemes are failing. Will the FM take steps the address this problem in Budget 2015?
