India carried out retaliatory strikes early Saturday, hitting Islamabad, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, along with three Air Force bases, defence sources told CNN-News18.

Multiple explosions were reported, two in Rawalpindi and one each in Lahore and Islamabad. The targeted airbases included Nur Khan in Rawalpindi, Rafiqi in Shorkot, and Murid in Chakwal.

DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry confirmed Indian strikes on Nur Khan and Rafiqi airbases but said all Pakistani Air Force assets are safe. The Pak government added that there were no casualties or material damage.
