Govt will talk to AG on possibility of bringing national law on match-fixing

Telecom and Law Minister Kapil Sibal has said that although both sports and gambling/betting are state subjects as specified in schedule 7 of the constitution, the government is trying to bring in national legislature on the premise that match-fixing is neither gambling or batting, and neither is it a sport.
