The US resolution against Sri Lanka at the 22nd UNHRC session is only the first step of what looks like an international intervention if the country doesn’t mend its ways. If the last resolution at the 21st session was soft, this one is hard. If Sri Lanka continues its game of subversion of justice, it’s reasonably certain that the subsequent rounds of the UNHRC sessions will see more radical language, and possibly some para-trouping, against the country.
