Xiaomi teases launch of new lightweight headphones in China on 23 March

Xiaomi has revealed through a teaser that is it going to launching a new audio product in China. The company has teased a poster representing a musical note made of feathers for the launch of the event. The poster has been published on Xiaomi's Weibo account and the new product will be launched at 10 AM on 23 March in China.

The music note on the poster, which is made with feathers (more cotton) in the poster is said to represent the lightweight feature of the upcoming headphone. As of writing, there is no information about the company bringing the new headphone to the global market or India.

Xiaomi has a number of earphones available in the Indian market. The range starts with the basic Mi Earphones priced at Rs 399 and Rs 699. The Mi in-Ear Headphone Pro HD is priced at Rs 1,999 in India. The Mi Capsule Earphones are priced at Rs 999 whereas the Mi Comfort headphone is priced at Rs 2,999 in India.

Xiaomi also sells Mi Noise cancelling earphones that are priced at Rs 2,999. With such a wide variety of audio accessories on sale in India, we are hoping to see the new lightweight headphones make it to the country as well.

Xiaomi is going to launch the next version of the Mi Mix 2, the Mi Mix 2s on 27 March. The smartphone that is known for its design is expected to come with wireless charging, dual-camera on the rear side and a bezel-less display.
