No two notification sounds in MIUI 10 will sound the same. There will be a lot of ambient nature noises while navigating through the phone. For example, while deleting something there will be a light desert wind sound, while using the timer you can hear ambient forest noises etc.

What’s new in the MIUI 10

There will be no more physical home buttons in future Xiaomi phones. Gesture controls for navigation have also been introduced owing to the full-screen phones that are coming out. The notifications, weather app, calendar app and recent view sections have also been changed. MIUI 10 will also introduce the AI-powered Bokeh mode photos for the camera app in even those devices which have a single lens camera.

Redmi Y2 Software and Hardware

The Redmi Y2 will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo overlayed with Xiaomi’s custom MIUI 9.5. There will also be a new feature called as smart photo editing. The phone also has a Face unlock feature. The Y2 will come with the Snapdragon 625 SoC making the phone at least 37 percent faster than the Redmi Y1.

The Redmi Y2 has a 16 MP AI-powered selfie camera. The AI algorithm helps in low-light selfie, auto-HDR, AI-beautify and more. The selfie taken from the Redmi Y2 will use the Pixel technology. This means that four different pixels will be combined to give a better selfie.
