The latest Windows 10 Creators Update was recently rolled out for laptops, tablets and other PCs. However, there was no mention if Microsoft would bring the update to smartphones running on Windows.

  • Alcatel IDOL 4S
  • Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL

The blog post goes on to say, "We recognise that many Insiders will be disappointed to see their device is no longer supported. We looked at feedback from our Windows Insiders and realised that we were not providing the best possible experience for our customers on many older devices. That helped us determine which devices we support for the Windows 10 Creators Update. We are continually listening to your feedback to provide the best experience for ALL of our customers."

Microsoft launched the new Creators Update for PCs on 11 April after it was first announced in October last year. As the name suggests, the new update is more for the art enthusiasts, but then there are other areas of improvement as well. The update brings new features and update to Paint, Edge browser, gaming and security.
