WhatsApp introduces 'Size' tab in Windows Phone version, allows you to organise your chats

WhatsApp is working on a host of new features including the previously reported revamped UI by the company. According to new reports, the company is working on a new ‘Storage Information’ tab which will sort your conversations ‘Messages’ according to size. According to a report by OneTechShop , WhatsApp introduced this feature in the Windows Phone version in Germany.

Once you sort your conversation list according to the size, each conversation, individual or group gets sorted according to your preference. WhatsApp shows details of the number of Text, Images, Voice Messages and GIFs below the name of every conversation along with the amount of space taken by the different type of messages.

The feature can be accessed in the ‘Chats and Calls’ sub-menu in the ‘Settings’ menu. This will help users organise their messages and the amount of storage that WhatsApp chat database takes on the internal memory of their smartphone.

Recently, the company introduced the new Snapchat-like ‘ WhatsApp Status ’ and after backlash from users, the company is trying to bring back the old status in form of ‘My About’ . The developers are also working on bringing the ‘Unsend’ option to the users where you can unsend messages within first 30 minutes from when the message was sent. It is not confirmed if this is the default behaviour of ‘Unsend’ feature as the feature is still under development. But we will see keep an eye on how and when the feature will rollout.
