It has just been a few days since Reliance announced its new Jio Prime membership and plans for its large customer base. To counter the fairly new mobile network, all the major Indian mobile network operators have announced similar plans. We just heard Airtel announcing the two new plans (Rs 345 and 145) and reports claims that Vodafone has also started offering a similar plan.

Vodafone is offering a Rs 346 plan where it is offering the same benefits as Reliance Jio. Which means customers get 1GB of 3G/4G data per day and unlimited calling both of which are valid for a month. The company is also offering double data of 56GB and double validity of 56 days the first time a Vodafone user activates this pack. This means customers get 1GB of 4G data daily and unlimited calling for 56 days at Rs 346.

While the company hasn’t officially announced the plan, it has however sent out an official statement saying “Vodafone customers are diverse as are their wants. To satisfy these diverse needs and wants, Vodafone offers various segmented propositions. This is one such segmented offering and the offer is valid only till 15 March.”

The latest move could be seen aimed at countering Reliance Jio’s Rs 303 Prime membership plan, which will offer 28 GB of 4G data, along with free unlimited voice calls starting April 1.
