Twitter user _Ninji discovered something new while liking a tweet. The Twitter for iOS app allowed the user to not only “heart” a tweet, but also replace that much-talked about heart icon with other emojis.
According to The Verge who contacted the user, _Ninji was running a test developer build of the Twitter app, which the user got access to via a jailbreak.
As you can see from the tweet below, this is still a feature that is stuck in testing, and has not gone public yet, so for now you will have to deal with the heart like button.

Coming to the new emoji options for a like, this could be an interesting feature; as users could be able to rate a tweet in terms of interest, likes or even dislikes. And since they do describe emotions, it will be easier for brands in social media to keep track of user reactions to their tweets from the back end as well.
The new options include a variety of emoji, from the 100 to the grimace, the party maker and more, but we are pretty sure Twitter will keep these selections a bit limited. For now there appears to be just 3 pages of them (36 in all).
Upon contacting Twitter, The Verge got a response, stating that things are under wraps for now.
