A new Samsung Flow app would soon be released for all Windows 10 PCs that would allow owners of Samsung Galaxy devices, unlock their PCs with their phone’s fingerprint readers.

So far, the Samsung Flow app on Windows 10 only lets Galaxy TabPro S users unlock their device using a Galaxy smartphone’s fingerprint reader. But this will soon change.

A Samsung support representative who responded to a customer on the Google Play Store review said that the Samsung Flow app would soon be released for all Windows 10 PCs that would allow owners of Samsung Galaxy devices, unlock their PCs with their phone’s fingerprint readers.

The feature that is currently only limited to the Galaxy TabPro S. According to SamMobile, the fingerprint authentication system using a Galaxy smartphone will also let users check smartphone notifications and even reply to them via their Windows 10 PC.

Additionally, the new app will also let users transfer content and share app activity from a paired smartphone.

The Samsung Flow app is not new and was first launched with the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge models. By the next update, we could be looking at the upcoming Microsoft Windows 10 Creator’s update . The update is expected to arrive in April.

So far the minimum requirments for Flow app on a PC is Windows 10 for software and a Bluetooth 4.1 enabled PC. Currently supported smartphones include S7/S7 edge, S6/S6 edgs/S6 edge+, Note 5 and the A7 and A5 (2016).
