Samsung has ‘accidentally ’ just revealed almost everything about its next smartphone, dubbed Samsung Galaxy S6 Active on its website . The company had revealed a user manual on its US website, but took it down quicky. However, 9to5Google saved an image of the photo along with a few specifications of the new smartphone.
According to the leaked manual, the new smartphone will sport a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. It will be powered by a Exynos 7420 octa-core processor and will include a non-upgradable internal storage of up to 32GB. It will also come equipped with a 16MP rear camera and will have a 5MP front-facing camera. Similar to the Galaxy S6, the phone will have a 2,550mAh battery. Most of the features on this new device are similar to the Galaxy S6.
Droid Life stated that the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Active will be sold by AT&T and will also come with an Activity Zone app. This new app will have the ability to put across information on Barometer, Weather, Compass and S Health. The device also has an IP 68 rating and therefore, will be water-resistant and dust-proof.
As of now, there is no information provided as to how much the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active would cost, when will it be available or when will it be released for a global market. Another report by 9to5google explains that the new smartphone has already been submitted for FCC approval. This usually takes place when a device is set with its set of specifications and hardware design.
