Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Go to launch in India soon: Report

The three new Redmi smartphones — the **Redmi Note 7** , **Redmi Note 7 Pro** and **Redmi Go**  — will soon be launched in India. These phones were recently announced at an event in China on 10 Jan. According to a  report by MySmartPrice, these phones are coming to India soon making them the first ‘Redmi’ branded phones to launch in India. Per the report, the three smartphones will launch in India ‘before the end of the first quarter of 2019’, which means by the end of March this year. As of now, Xiaomi’s new-sub-brand Redmi, has only **officially unveiled** the Redmi Note 7 in China. The Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Redmi Go (which will be the company’s first Android Go smartphone) are still under wraps. To recall, on 10 January, Redmi launched the Redmi Note 7 in China, which has a 6.3-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC, generally found on mid-range devices, and packs in a 4,000 mAh battery. [caption id=“attachment_5870141” align=“alignnone” width=“1024”] ![Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. The camera is the device’s highlight. Despite being a budget-friendly smartphone, it packs in a surprisingly large 48 MP dual camera (Samsung GM1 sensor) with an f/1.8 lens. The secondary camera has a 5 MP sensor. The dual-camera setup is ‘AI enabled.’ For selfies, the phone features a 13 MP camera with AI features and a portrait mode. In addition to that, Redmi recently **announced** that the new Redmi Note 7 will get Xiaomi Mi Mix 3’s Super Night Scene camera feature that enhances and produces brighter images in low light. At the same event, Xiaomi also announced the upcoming launch of the Redmi Note 7 Pro, which is also said to sport a 48 MP camera with a Sony IMX586 sensor. The phone is scheduled to launch post the Chinese New Year, which will be after 5 February. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is also **rumoured** to be powered by Snapdragon 675 SoC. Other details about the Redmi Note 7 Pro are scarce as of now, however, reports speculate that the phone might carry near similar specifications as the Redmi Note 7. However, a tipster on Weibo did recently **reveal** that the Redmi Note 7 Pro might come for a price of CNY 1,499 (around Rs 15,800).
