Pocket Guitar on iPhone

Seeing how the whole world is raving about Guitar Hero 3, and having played it myself, here’s a bit of information that makes sense. People who want to take their geekiness level a notch higher can now download Pocket Guitar on to their iPhones. It’s a simple application that allows you to play anywhere on the first six frets, with an option to switch the sound between Electric Overdrive, Clean and Bass guitar – I’m sorry though, no ‘slap and pop’ business!!

I tried it, and apart from the first few minutes of flashiness there is very little to gain. A word of advice to budding musicians with iPhones: it wouldn’t be a good idea to take it for jam-ups, unless you have forgotten your fender at home.
