The new Oxygen OS 4.1.4 update has started rolling out in India. So, if you own a OnePlus 3 or a OnePlus 3T in India, chances are you will get a prompt or you can go to your settings menu and manually check for the update.

Surprisingly the new update only suggest one change in the changelog which says ‘Fixed screen flickering issue for Indian region’. There has been no official announcement from OnePlus but we are expecting one soon. We have managed to get the update on a OnePlus 3 and a OnePlus 3T and post the update we didn’t notice any prominent changes.

The update is based on Android 7.1.1 and still carries the March security updates. It seems that OnePlus might release a bigger update at a later stage along with the latest security patches.

  • Enabled Bug report feedback app (User Feedback)
  • Fixed duplicate Contacts after upgrading
  • Fixed Contacts search function bug
  • Fixed alarm clock occasionally not ringing
  • Fixed certain app crashes
  • Fixed some display issues with Dark and Light themes
