Tesla Motors, one of the most popular auto manufacturers for electric cars and semi-autonomous cars recently was blamed by a Tesla Model X owner for an accident that happened. Tesla spokesperson after analyzing the car logs stated that the car was operating in manual control without any Autopilot or cruise control at the time of of the accident or even before that. The detailed car log mentioned by the spokesperson tells that the car was operating according to the actions taken by the driver and the driver chose to accelerate and increase the speed from 6 mph to 60 mph.
Tesla Motors as a company now is frequently blamed when anything goes wrong with the car and most drivers choose to blame the semi-autonomous systems of the care that include autopilot and cruise control for the accident. By blaming the machine the drivers want to put the blame on the factors that were unexpected and abrupt including mechanical functions. Despite the blames, Tesla makes it a point to present a detailed log as recorded by the car to clarify how drivers were operating the car in manual mode and some of them were straight away breaking traffic rules.
