Nokia 8 is now available for sale on Amazon. The model is priced at Rs 36,999. Polished Blue and Steel are the two colour variants available.

Those who are planning to buy the Steel colour variant will receive their device soon after placing the order. Those who are looking forward to the Polished Blue variant may have to wait till 16 October for it to be in stock. In the meantime, the users can place their order and wait for it to be delivered.

Other than this, the Nokias with a special offer of 100 GB of 4G internet data via Reliance Jio. However, as per Amazon, this offer would be available from 14 October onwards. To activate this, the user has to download the MyJio Application.

Those who are looking to exchange their present phone with Nokia’s flagship phone can get it exchanged. The exchange is available upto Rs 9,500 only. Most of the exchange offers that we’ve seen on ecommerce sites have proven to be of little value, so you might be better off selling your old phone yourself. Polished Blue and Steel are the two colour variants available.

Payment for the smartphone can be made via credit card, debit card, netbanking, or EMI. It is not available for cash on delivery. It is available at no cost EMI on certain banks. Other offers include 10 percent additional cashback if the transaction is made from the State Bank of India. The offer is available till 17 January.

Nokia 8 was launched in August this year. The smartphone has a dual rear camera and one front camera. The three cameras use 13 MP sensors with f/2.0 lenses. It also introduced the ‘bothie’ feature. Here the user can use the front and rear cameras simultaneously to take an image or a video. 4K streaming capabilities have been employed along with Nokia OZO Audio for 360 degree spatial recording. OZO is the name for Nokia’s audio and VR recording platform.

Interestingly , it was recently revealed that Nokia is planning to cut down on 310 jobs as well as its virtual reality camera OZO. It was reported that the slower than expected virtual reality market lead the Finnish company to do away with the product.
