New renders showcase the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus in white-golden treatment

New renders of the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus showcase the upcoming devices in golden colour with the P10 Plus having a curved display and an iris scanner.

Huawei had good success with the P9 and this year we are all set to see a successor. A couple of months back we saw some leaked renders of a curved variant of the upcoming device and today we have some more scoop. A recent report from China has got new renders of the P10 as well as the P10 Plus. Previously we had seen the same smartphone in black which was apparently the P10 Plus itself.

As you can see the P10 doesn't have a rear fingerprint sensor but a physical home button, which means that Huawei will move it to the front. However, the P10 Plus has both of them, which is a bit confusing. This could mean that the fingerprint sensor on the P10 Plus will be at the back and at the front it will be just a home button.

The P10 Plus will also have a curved display which looks very similar to recently departed Samsung Galaxy Note 7 as well as an iris scanner for added security. While it isn't confirmed, it will have a 5.5-inch dimension which would make it similar to Huawei's Mate 9 Pro. Of course you get the dual-camera setup with 'Leica tech' and ring flash, which was also seen in the previous black renders. The P10 however will not have this and go for a normal dual-LED flash.

Going by the rumours, the P10 will feature a HiSilicon Kirin 960 chip while the P10 Plus is said to carry a higher-clocked Kirin 965. The P10 will arrive in  4GB+64GB / 6GB+128GB configurations while the P10 Plus could have 6GB+128GB / 8GB+256GB variants. Other features include expandable storage,  Android Nougat and battery sizes of 3,100mAh and 3,650mAh.
