Huawei is expected to launch its new flagship this year capitalising on the success of the dual-lens camera equipped P9.
Thanks to a teaser video, we can now confirm that the new Huawei P10 will be announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this month. Huawei will have an event on the 26 of February.
Apart from the P10, we could also see Huawei launching a new smartwatch. The Huawei Watch 2 could be announced alongside the P10. It makes sense too since Android Wear 2.0 was just launched. According to speculations, the new Huawei Watch 2 will be more sporty rather than a classic watch approach which was done with the last model.
As for the P10, there have been a bunch of renders leaked in the past pointing out to two versions of the device, one with a flat display panel and one with a curved display like the departed Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
The P10 is expected to feature a HiSilicon Kirin 960 chip while the P10 Plus is said to carry a higher-clocked Kirin 965. The P10 will arrive in 4GB+64GB / 6GB+128GB configurations while the P10 Plus could have 6GB+128GB / 8GB+256GB variants. Other features include expandable storage, Android Nougat and battery sizes of 3,100mAh and 3,650mAh.
