Miserable fans: The iPhone 4S has it all, but it's not called iPhone 5....

After Apple failed to release an iPhone 5 today, there was complete disappointment and the company’s stock tumbled more than 5 percent. We got an iPhone 4S, which will look exactly the same as the iPhone 4 was the general sentiment on Twitter.

Fans were extremely disappointed which surfaced in their snarky reactions " iPhone 4S huh? Nice work, Apple. Call me when it either has a bullet-proof alloy screen or is CALLED THE IPHONE 5!" tweeted The Batman and “keeping my iPhone 4 till the 5 komes out.. 4s didn’t wow me..” tweeted out Alexa Rose .

However, Tech Gurus were of a different opinion.

Splat F’s Dan Frommer argues , “The iPhone 4S is a significantly different device under the hood, including a faster processor, better camera, faster mobile web access, better antenna design, worldphone features, and better battery life.”

Frommer said “While it’s nothing revolutionary, the phone still has some nice updates. And hey, it’s still the best phone around.”

TechCrunch’s Erick Shonfeld explained that the “iPhone 4S will be powered by a new A5 processor. The A5 is a dual-core processor which will be up to twice as fast as the current A4, and seven times faster processing graphics.”

However, Gizmodo’s Jesus Diaz and Kyle Wagner don’t find anything particularly extraordinary , but think the total package is quite impressive.

Most of them especially like the notifications update.
