Microsoft India gets a new president, Anant Maheshwari

Anant Maheshwari will join Microsoft India as President from 1 September. Before joining Microsoft, Maheshwari worked as a top executive for Honeywell, and prior to Honeywell, Maheshwari was at McKinsey. He will take over operations from Bhaskar Pramanik, Chairman, Microsoft India from January 1, 2017, after which Pramanik will retire. Maheshwari will be responsible for all of Microsoft’s products and services in India. He will be driving the mobile first and cloud first efforts of the company.
