Chinese smartphone maker Meizu is expected to unveil its Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus on 26 July.

Chinese smartphone maker Meizu is expected to unveil its Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus on 26 July. The confirmation about the event comes from an official invite which was received and then reported by GizmoChina.

According to the website the second screen on the phone is placed below the dual camera setup on the back side of the devices. The same second screen will reportedly help users take selfies with the rear primary camera and even let them play games on the small screen.

The Meizu Pro 7 is expected to feature a MediaTek Helio X30 chipset, while the Meizu Pro 7 Plus is expected to pack Samsung’s Exynos 8895 processor, which is currently only available on Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones. However, a recent tweet by @mmdjchina claims that none of the new Meizu smartphones are expected to come with the Samsung-made Exynos 8895 chipset.

An earlier report by  GizmoChina  leaked out a live image of both the smartphones. The website mentions that the Meizu Pro 7 plus will be slightly bigger than the Meizu Pro 7 and is expected to come with Samsung’s Exynos 8895 processor while the Meizu Pro 7 is expected to be launched with a MediaTek’s Helio X30 chipset.

The standard version of Meizu Pro 7 is said to start at 3299 Yuan (Approx. Rs 31,339) while the high-end variant is expect to be launched at a price tag of 3799 Yuan (Approx. Rs 36,089).
