Toymaker, Mattel is bringing mobile game, Angry Birds out of your mobile and into your living room. They’re releasing the Angry Birds board game in India. Dream Theater, the company that has the rights to Batman and Superman will be launching t-shirts, plush toys and other Angry Birds merchandise in India. Mattel Toys India’s Commercial Director Karun Gera, says the game will be a skill action game. Jiggy George, the CEO of Dream Theater said most of the merchandise won’t cost more than Rs. 500.

Angry Birds has already gone into merchandising with plush toys and Angry Birds t-shirts have popped up everywhere so the biggie here really is the board game. It will be interesting to see what the board game will actually entail because the one big feature it’s going to miss is the special powers the birds have.
