Moto G5 Plus
Moto G5 Plus, the latest upgrade by Lenovo to the Moto G brand comes with an all new metal body along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 and Adreno 506. The company offers 16GB and 32GB internal storage and has dropped the 2GB RAM variant giving users a 3GB option. The most significant upgrade comes in the camera department with new 12MP camera module with an aperture of f/1.7. Aperture increase is more significant that dropping the megapixel count down from 16MP to 12MP. Another significant improvement that Moto G5 Plus gains is 4K video recording which not smartphone in mid range boasts from the competition. You can check out first impressions about the Lenovo Moto G5 Plus in detail here.
Moto G4 Plus
We have added the Moto G4 Plus to give you a context of how much things have changed. The most important thing that has changed is the presence of an all-metal body in place of an all plastic body. This addition and the bump in camera gives buyers enough reasons to choose Moto G5 Plus in place of the now outdated Moto G4 Plus. However, you can still go for the old Moto G4 Plus if you are a ‘Moto’ brand loyalist and don’t want to spend much while buying a new smartphone.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the king of mid-budget smartphones in the Indian market with no competition when it comes to the value of money the smartphone maker provides. One important thing to note is that Redmi Note 4 provides 4GB RAM in Rs 12,999 while you need to shell Rs 16,999 while buying the 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant. The only area where Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 may lag behind when compared to G5 Plus is in the camera department. We still have to review Moto G5 Plus to definitively tell how it performs in the real world along with the benchmarks.
