The newest phone accessory to hop out of Jabra’s stylish closet is the Bluetooth mono (non-stereo) headset - Supreme. The highlight of the headset is its Active Noise Cancellation ability coupled with digital signal processing (DSP), proprietary Noise Blackout 3.0 and Wind-Noise Reduction technology. The device incorporates the Voice Control capability to end, redial, answer, make and reject calls using a voice command. The Voice guidance further adds to the convenience by alerting various statuses like low battery and more.

According to Ann Goh, Regional Sales Manager, GN Netcom, responsible for mobile products business in South East Asia, “For years, headset-makers have focused on noise reduction technology that avoids the transmission of background noise in the call. Now Jabra Supreme does it all – by reducing ambient noise around the user. It’s like having phone conversation in a quiet room, wherever the user may be.”

The Active Noise Cancellation generates anti-noise sound by removing ambient noise using the electronic chipset and comes with a dedicated microphone. The Noise Blackout 3.0 reduces background noise for better listening and the Wind-noise reduction technology has been crafted for better calls in outdoor, windy conditions.

Jabra uses the capsuling method to reduce wind noise. The capsule made of foam stops wind and allows only sound waves to pass. The Jabra Supreme features a black leather finish and patented boom arm that flips. The design elements include an adjustable ear hook, and ear cushions to choose from. The powerful sound is delivered by a 24mm speaker and is also HD voice ready. According to the company, as mobile operators will start providing high-definition voice, the software upgrade will be made available to users of the Supreme. The headset can be connected to Bluetooth-enabled devices using the Multi-use technology. It promises 6 hours of talk time and 15 days of standby time.
