Google+ photos update lets you move photos between albums

Google has rolled out some improvements to Google+ photos based on the feedback it received from users, writes Google’s Joe Emerson in a post .

A new “Move” option now allows users to move photos between albums. All that users have to do is pick a few photos in an album or click the new “Select” link to pick all photos and then decide where they want to put them. They can also download these images and save them to their computer by clicking the “Download” option after selecting the photos. Those looking to upload large albums to Google+ Photos can rejoice as Google claims to have made the entire deal faster, courtesy a few changes.

Better photos capabilties

The Google+ Android app, which was updated last month to version 4.0, featured significant improvements to photos . The Auto Backup feature allows users to store their photos privately and safely. The Auto Highlight feature lets them look through a selection of top clicks from every set of photos they add and there is Auto Enhance to make slight improvements to the people and places in the images automatically. Auto Awesome lets users create new versions of their images by adding animations and panoramas based on the images. To get started, all users have to do is upload a few shots, visit the Photos section of the updated app and view their Highlights. Here, they can also check out the enhancements by Google and remove them if they don’t like it.

The photo-viewing experience on Google+ was updated recently to allow users to pan and zoom on the images to view them better. Users have to simply open a large photo in the lightbox and then, depending on how they want to view it, they can either use their mouse wheel to zoom in or out and/or click and drag to pan right, left, up or down.
