Offline search by Google will simply let you queue up a search query even when you have no internet access. When you eventually connect to the internet, Google will search for and send you results. Together with the data saver features, Google’s offline search should ease the problems of commuting and spotty connections to some degree.

Google insists that the feature will not adversely affect the battery life of your device. Results will be presented in the form of streamlined search pages , which are lighter on your network as well as on your device.

The new offline search feature is already available on Android devices running the latest version of the Google search app.
