A whole bunch of additions have been made available to the Glass, according to an official Google+ post.
The useful Google Now cards are now available on Glass, offering wearers the information they need even before they ask for it. Upon swiping backwards on the touchpad, Glass users can access information on restaurants, hotels and events – reminders for dinner reservations, hotel bookings and concerts. They can also find showtimes and movie information for theatres in the vicinity, in addition to emergency alerts. Other useful Google Now cards include ones for traffic, weather and sports.

Another exciting new introduction to Glass is voice commands. Glass wearers can add voice commands from other services to the main menu. At the outset, two new voice commands have been introduced – “Post an update” (first supported by Path) and “Take a note” (first supported by Evernote). The post confirms that as far as voice commands go, there will be more to come. “..soon you’ll be able to use your voice to trigger all sorts of services. We’ll keep you posted (pun very much intended) as we roll out more,” confirms the post.
Finally, there is the video player feature that is new on Glass. Wearers can use this feature to skip to the moment they care about the most. When users are watching their videos or video updates from CNN, they can tap to pause, play and swipe to fast forward or rewind, to get to the desired moment.
Expect the changes to appear in the days to come.
