Now shoot and send pictures instantly with Facebook Messenger for iOS and Android

Facebook has rolled out updates to its Messenger app on iOS and Android. The latest update enables users to take a photo while chatting instantly and send it through to any contact.

The company claims that the messenger now has improved search capability that will ensure a user can quickly find a contact or group of people. Users can also record a video or take a photo and instantly send it. They can preview the photo or a video in the camera roll before sending it.

Another feature Facebook has rolled out is about stickers used during conversations. If a person receives a sticker while conversing with another individual, then the receiver can just press and hold down the sticker to download the entire sticker pack.

The new update to Facebook messenger lets users watch a video or listen to a sound file they receive by simply tapping on it within the app itself without any need to leave the app.

The update is live for iOS and Android will eventually receive these updates this week. Apart from iOS and Android, Messenger is also available for Windows Phone, but the latest updates are not available on it.
