Will Sony be renaming the successor to the PSP, this E3?

E3 2011: Sony's NGP to Be Called PS Vita?

Now this is to be taken with a pinch of salt as it has not been confirmed by Sony yet, but it seems that at E3 2011, the NGP (Next Generation Portable) may officially be named PS Vita. Yes, that makes no sense whatsoever but then, neither did the Wii right?

WTF does Vita even mean?

This news comes to us from Destructoid who’ve received a tip from one of their users after he went snooping around the HTML files of Sony’s E3 2011 site . And here’s the list of rumored launch titles for the NGP/Vita, courtesy pspgweber.com :

Keep in mind once again that neither of this has been confirmed by Sony, but it could very well be, real soon at their E3 2011 press conference.
