OnePlus founder and CEO, Pete Lau posted a photo from his OnePlus 5 on the Chinese social network Weibo. The shot comprising of mostly the sky seems very clear and GSMArena's reading into the metadata suggests a 16-megapixel sensor.
The photograph, despite being taken in very low light manages to get the exposure and detail on the building just right along with a negligible amount of noise, further showing off the company's emphasis in the camera department with the OnePlus 5. Lau captioned the picture in Chinese which translates to, "What a purely clear sky! See you at 10 am tomorrow," which might point towards more leaks in the coming few days.
The images taken earlier on the OnePlus 5 suggested that the camera has a f/1.8 aperture, enabling it to capture greater depth for bokeh with its dual camera setup. Earlier leaks from Android Police also suggested that the phone would look similar to Oppo's R11, with a few other smaller changes. The phone would sport Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor, confirmed by the CEO earlier.
The company revealed only yesterday that it would globally launch its flagship on 22 June 2017 in India, soon after it announced the device's global launch scheduled for 20 June 2017.
