Microsoft today opened up its Cortana Skills Kit at its annual Build 2017 conference. The new Cortana Skills Kit is now available as a public preview and it has plenty of new skills that developers can make use of.
Cortana Skills Set is an SDK that will allow devs to build Cortana-enabled devices, or basically give them an AI that is powered by Microsoft. This would also allow Cortana’s skills of voice-based features to be enabled into more apps.
From the looks of its there are 46 skills available so far and these come from a number of partners that Microsoft has managed to rope in. The skills work best on Windows 10 Creators Edition and will also work on Android and iOS.
The list of currently available skills are as follows, Microsoft will be adding more as they are developed.
