BSNL offers new data packs with double the data in celebration of Holi; 28GB data for Rs 291

BSNL has announced a bunch of new data plans to celebrate the festival of Holi.

The existing Rs 156, Rs 198, Rs 291 and Rs 549 plans are being upgraded to offer lots more data and in some cases, increased validity, reports The Economic Times .

The Rs 156 plan will now offer 7GB of data and 28 days of validity as opposed to the 4GB of data and 10 days of validity you got earlier. The Rs 198 offers the same validity, but data is upped by 4GB.

ET adds that the Rs 291 plan now offers 28GB of data for 28 days while the Rs 549 plan will offer 30GB of data for 30 days.

All telcos in the country have taken to offering massive bumps in data packs to fight increasing competition that is eating away at their market share in the country. Reliance Communications , Aircel , Airtel and even Vodafone have offered huge data packs at low prices, even offering free data in some cases.

BSNL’s offers will be valid on recharges made before 17 March and apply to new and existing customers.
