The Bharat Interface for Money (Bhim) app will be the part of Republic Day live presentation. The presentation of Bhim app and the underlying Unified Payment Interface (UPI) will emphasise the need to adopt technology as reported by The Economic Times.

Bhim was launched on 30 December by Prime Minister Modi to provide a uniform way for transacting money after the move to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes back in November. The app is developed by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) and uses UPI for the transactions. We have created a guide on both Bhim app as well as UPI to help you understand how the app works. The app may have some issues due to excess server load and the developers are actively working to resolve the issue.

Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi will be the Chief Guest of 68th Republic Day. Other highlights of the Republic day parade this year will include 40 UAE soldiers participating the parade. French troops had participated in the Parade because of French President Francois Hollande invited as the chief guest for the Republic Day parade last year.

In addition, according to the report, NSG will showcase anti-terror, anti-hijacking and special operations capabilities. One thing to note is that this is the first time that special forces of the army will not be a part of the parade.

As far as we know, this will be the first time that any mobile app will be a part of the Republic day parade. If you know any digital mobiles apps that have been a part of Republic day parade then let us know in the comments down below.
