Vine is becoming ever-popular for advertising upcoming products, especially with movies and games. Activision has released a mini-trailer on the video-sharing service that gives a brief look at some of the development for its upcoming game – Call of Duty: Ghosts. Not much about the game can be seen in the trailer, however, it does look like foliage will be a big thing. The trailer shows a soldier walking around what looks like a tropical forest. Check it out:

Actual live gameplay footage of Ghosts will be shown at Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox event. The game will presumably be one of the launch titles for the next-gen Xbox, and we’ll get to see both the console’s graphical capabilities as well as the capabilities of the new engine that Infinity Ward has been working on for Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Call of Duty: Ghosts was officially unveiled earlier this month. Among other things, it will be the first game in the series to use an altogether different graphics engine from its predecessors. Before Ghosts, the Call of Duty games primarily used a heavily modified version of the Quake III Arena engine, but it has been modified and updated so many times that it hardly resembles the original engine.

“Everyone was expecting us to make Modern Warfare 4, which would have been the safe thing to do. But we’re not resting on our laurels,” said Mark Rubin, Executive Producer, Infinity Ward. “We saw the console transition as the perfect opportunity to start a new chapter for Call of Duty. So we’re building a new sub-brand, a new engine, and a lot of new ideas and experiences for our players. We can’t wait to share them with our community.”

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
