The passengers will first go to Delhi and afterwards will board the direct flight to Jeddah. The Hajj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, the holiest city for Muslims.

•Langar committees have constructed sheds at various points along the National Highway to provide facilities to pilgrims going for Amarnath Yatra such as food, shelter and medical aid. They have also established washrooms as well as set up boarding and lodging facilities and CCTV cameras have also been installed in the tents. According to government officials, the rush at Amarnath Yatra has increased this year in comparison to the past couple of years.
Kailash Mansarovar yatra: 44 pilgrims from Telangana stranded in Nepal’s Hilsa after travel agency abandons them on return trip
•Forty-four people from Telangana have been left stranded since the last four days near the Nepali town of Hilsa after a travel agency they were registered with abandoned them while returning from their pilgrimage to Kailash Mansarovar. One of the passengers said that the area, where they have been stranded, is completely surrounded by hills and a few of them are gradually falling sick. 'I request the state government to help us get back to our homes safely', he said.

•Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), SS Deswal visited Lipulekh pass to review the arrangements and the conditions for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Deswal was accompanied by other officials also and they cleaned the area by collecting garbage and took it to the base for its disposal. According to the schedule this year, 18 batches will trek across the Lipulekh pass in Uttarakhand.
