Chinese smartphone maker Oppo sees a 133 percent year on year growth

A camera-centric product range paired with premium design helped Chinese phonemaker Oppo see a 133 per cent year-on-year growth -- maintaining fourth spot in smartphone brand globally by market share and top spot in China for the last two quarters, a report said on Friday.

Oppo takes top spot in China's offline market, thanks to F1 Plus sales: Report

According to independent research firm Sino-MR, Oppo took the number-one spot in China's offline sales in March for the recently launched F1 Plus. The F1 Plus (called the R9 in China) reportedly sold 180,000 units on its first day of sales on March 24, and after four days on the market had already sold more than 400,000.
