Cyclone Mora: After Bangladesh, India now braces for heavy rainfall and severe weather conditions

Cyclone Mora has hit the NorthEastern states on Tuesday afternoon. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in large parts of Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.

The IMD, which has predicted a normal rainfall this year, said the Southwest Monsoon has advanced over the Andaman Sea.
