82-year-old Swamy was arrested in Ranchi on Thursday and produced before a Mumbai court on Friday. He has been remanded to judicial custody till 23 October
While Teltumbde has authored over two dozen books, Navlakha wrote Days and Nights in the Heartland of Rebellion in 2012 and retired as editorial consultant of the Economic & Political Weekly.
Navlakha had sought default bail under Section 167 of the CrPc, claiming he had been in custody for over 90 days.
The SC also expunged adverse remarks of the HC against the NIA made in its 27 May order while dealing with the bail plea of accused Gautam Navlakha.
