Telangana Election 2019: 61% polling till 5 pm; Nizamabad steals show with record 185 candidates

The first phase of polling began at 7 am for 16 constituencies, except in Nizamabad, where it began at 8 am and concluded at 6 pm. An estimated 60.57 percent of voters cast their ballot till 5 pm in the state.

In Phase 1 of the Lok Sabha Election on 11 April, Andhra, Arunachal, Meghalaya, Uttarakhand, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Telangana will vote for all seats, while Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Kashmir, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal will vote for a few of seats.
