Carl Lewis, in an exclusive interview to CNN-IBN, said that United States will outstrip Jamaica in the number of sprint medals. The nine-time Olympic champion added that Usain Bolt was not the favourite this time.

Indeed, King Carl doesn’t even expect Jamaica to continue its supremacy in athletics.

When asked as to who was favoured to win the battle between Usain Bolt or Yohan Blake, Carl Lewis replied: “I am going beyond that. I say America will win more medals on the track than anybody else. I think there are going to be more surprises in the sprint, and America will win more medals, not Jamaica."

When asked about the talent in India, the Carl was generous in his response saying that he always felt India had got a lot of talent. “You just got to believe in yourself, that you are as good as the rest of the world,” he said.
