Zimbabwe register an unprecedented 3-2 series win over Sri Lanka in the five-match ODI series as they won the fianl ODI by 3 wickets, with over 10 overs left in the game. AFP

Hamilton Masakadza and Solomon Mire ensured Zimbabwe had a solid start to the chase of 204 as they put together a partnership of 92 runs for the first wicket. AFP

At 148 for 3, it looked like Zimbabwe would cruise to a victory but Akila Dananjaya had other plans as he took out three wickets in quick succession to derail the chase. AFP

It was then left to captain Graeme Creme and Sikandar Raza to ensure Zimabwe didn't miss out on a golden opportunity to complete a rare series win against Sri Lanka. AFP
