Paris Paralympics 2024, India Schedule Day 5 (2 September): Full list of medal matches and events

India’s medal count at the 2024 Paris Paralympics rose to seven on Sunday with Preethi Pal (women’s 200m T35) and Nishad Kumar (men’s high jump T47) winning bronze and silver respectively. And on Monday, more medals can be expected from Indian athletes across para-badminton, para-shooting, para-athletics and para-archery.

Among athletes in action on Monday include shuttlers Manisha Ramadass, Nitesh Kumar, Suhas Yathiraj and Thulasimathi Murugesan. In athletics, javelin thrower Sumit Antil will look to defend his gold medal that he won in Tokyo. Sumit will participate in the men’s javelin throw F64 event.

Another athlete to keep an eye on is discus thrower Yogesh Kathuniya , who will feature in the men’s discus throw F56 category.

Deepti Jeevanji, the defending world champion, will get her campaign in the women’s 400m T20 category underway.
