The second night of WWE SummerSlam 2025 took place on Sunday, August 3, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The action was even more intense than Night 1, with shocking returns, wild brawls, and emotional moments that fans will remember for a long time.

Cody Rhodes became the new Undisputed WWE Champion after beating John Cena in the main event. The match had everything, including a surprise attack from legend Brock Lesnar.

Cody Rhodes defeats John Cena to become Undisputed WWE Champion

Cody Rhodes finally recaptured the Undisputed WWE Championship by beating John Cena. The two Superstars used chairs, tables, and even a crutch from NBA player Tyrese Haliburton, who was sitting ringside. Cena hit multiple Attitude Adjustments and even slammed Cody on a table, but the latter wouldn’t give up.

After smashing Cena with a metal turnbuckle and landing three Cross Rhodes finishers, Rhodes ended the match with an Avalanche Cutter and a final Cross Rhodes to win the title. After the match, Cena and Rhodes showed respect, but then Brock Lesnar showed up and beat Cena with a massive F5.

Dominik Mysterio beats AJ Styles to retain Intercontinental Title

Dominik Mysterio continued his reign as Intercontinental Champion after a sneaky win over AJ Styles. Styles looked like he had the match won with his Calf Crusher, but Mysterio escaped after losing his boot. He used it to hit Styles and followed up with a Frog Splash to win the match for The Judgment Day.

Becky Lynch defeats Lyra Valkyria to stay Women’s Intercontinental Champion

Becky Lynch kept her Women’s Intercontinental Title after a wild match against Lyra Valkyria where anything was allowed. They used weapons like sticks, chairs, and even a fire extinguisher during the fight. At one point, another wrestler named Bayley got involved. Valkyria almost won after slamming Becky through a table, but Bayley accidentally hit Valkyria, which gave Becky the chance to finish the match and win.

All three women had big moments in the fight as SKY jumped off the top rope, Ripley used her powerful slam, and Naomi kept stopping them from winning. In the end, Naomi quickly rolled up Ripley and held her tights to steal the win.
