India at Paris Paralympics 2024: Full schedule and results, event-wise medal tally

India ended their Paris Paralympics 2024 campaign on Sunday with a record 29 medals after 11 days of action at the Summer Games. India’s previous best was 19, a record that was set in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

At Paris 2024, India won 29 medals including seven gold, nine silver, and 13 bronze medals. Two gold medals have been won by Tokyo Paralympics champions Avani Lekhara and Sumit Antil, while Nitesh Kumar, Dharambir, Harvinder Singh, Praveen Kumar, and Navdeep Singh added the rest.

A record 84 athletes from India competed at the 2024 Paris Paralympics which got underway on 28 August. The Indian athletes participated in 12 sports in the French capital. India had sent 54 athletes to the Tokyo Paralympics.

Overall before the 2024 edition, India had won a total of 31 medals (Nine gold, 12 silver, and 10 bronze) across 12 editions. India’s Paralympics debut came at the 1968 Tel Aviv Games.
