Prithvi Shaw is already well-known in cricketing circles in Mumbai, but his knock of 546 is certain to take his fame to another level. It is now the highest score by a batsman in the tournament. The previous record was Armaan Jaffer’s 473.
Playing in the Harris Shield in Mumbai, Shaw slammed a quintuple century today — the 14-year-old from Rizvi Springfield was not out on 257 at stumps on Tuesday.

Shaw’s abundant talent was on display as he cracked 44 boundaries yesterday — reaching 257 in just 166 balls. However, he decided to up the ante, scoring another 289 runs today. In total, his innings of 546 came in 367 minutes, 330 balls and with 85 fours and five sixes before being dismissed.
Springfield are taking on St Francis D’Assisi, who managed just 92 in their first innings. Rizvi’s innings finished with 991 runs on the board.
According to this Times of India report , Shaw has already played abroad in England for the Gloucestershire second team, impressing Julian Wood — a former English county cricketer and the founder JW cricket academy.
Shaw has also been named skipper of the Mumbai U-16 side.
