The Lok Sabha faced protests this morning, with the Opposition staging a walkout after reports emerged that Shiv Sena MPs allegedly forced a Muslim catering manager at Maharashtra Sadan to break his Ramzan fast and consume a chapati, allegedly for serving them tasteless food.

Video footage accessed by television channels shows Shiv Sena MP Rajan Vichare force feeding Arshad, the manager of the catering service in the residency.

Opposition parties slammed the Sena and have demanded an immediate apology as well as their suspension from Parliament.
