Will Team Anna form a political party? Well that only time will tell. But according to Justice Markandey Katju, who has been a strong critic of Anna Hazare, Team Anna would not benefit if they enter electoral politics as no one would vote for them.
“Which caste will this political party represent? Because unless you represent one caste, you won’t get votes,” Justice Katju said to CNN-IBN.
“Whether you are honest or meritorious nobody bothers. People see your caste or religion. You may thump your chest and say you are very honest but you will get no votes,” he added.
When CNN-IBN mentioned that there is mass following for Team Anna, Katju said it was better not to mention aam admi as they are ‘fools’.
“The aam admi in this country are fools, casteist and communal. So please don’t talk about aam admi. I have already written an article saying that 90% of Indians are fools,” he said.
